It seems like everyone has been talking about a new spot called Liberty Public Market. I had to go see for myself what all the hype was about…
It’s been 5 months since Liberty Public Market opened it’s doors for the first time to the public. Since then, San Diegans and lucky visitors have been able to meet the artisans and enjoy some of the best food congregated in one area.
After many diners urging me to go, I recently had a chance to finally visit myself. The first thought that came to my mind as I walked in was: Barcelona! Seeing the butcher shop, cheeses, pastries all in a rustic and cozy setting. I went back to my time in Europe and what I loved the most about my travels: experiencing food!
Next, was to decide what to eat. Their venue elevates comfort food to a refined level; and it all looks delicious. From lobster rolls, homemade pasta and empanadas to stuffed burgers. Yes, stuffed! Say no more. It was as good as it sounds. Later I found out that STUFFED! started as a food truck three years back. What a wonderful idea! Totally recommended.
With my gourmet stuffed burger in hand, and a beer in the other, I placed myself on their cute patio joining others with their dogs and families. What a great experience! I am definitely coming back for another STUFFED! burger and to try all the different foods at Liberty Public Market.
